The Academic Computing Center (ACC) located in the PTCB, Room 116, primarily serves the faculty, staff, and students of the School of Medicine. Many of the services offered at the Welch Library are also available at the ACC.

If you are registered to use the William H. Welch Medical Library, you may also use the ACC to do the following:

• Search online databases and resources via the Welch Gateway
• Connect to e-mail

The ACC is open 24/7, all year.

Information and Reference Services

The ACC staff answers reference question, teach people how to use library equipment and facility, assist users operating the microcomputers in the computer lab, and direct people to information sources. The staff provide instruction on using the Welch Gateway which includes the JHU Libraries Catalog, MEDLINE, and several other databases and resources.

Library Cards

Library cards cannot be replaced or renewed at the ACC. To do this you must go to the Circulation desk at Welch Medical Library, for more information call 410-955-3596.
