academic computing center (ACC)

Your center for technical support, located in the School of Medicine's Preclinical Teaching Building. The ACC operates PC and Macintosh computers, printers, scanners, and multimedia workstations.

General, technical, or content questions
Two laserjet b/w printers, located in the ACC JHED login required Limit of 200 pages per month

Streaming lectures
Lectures for the First and Second Year Medical School courses posted daily

Logins
To view each day's streaming lectures, you will be prompted to enter your JHED ID and JHED password. If you are using a PC, type win\ preceding your JHED username, e.g., win\jsmith1

To view the lecture videos, you need Windows Media Player installed on your computer.

At the beginining of the First Year course, you will receive your Blackboard login in your Orientation packet

Your Blackboard username is your official JHED ID, e.g., jsmith1

Password
Your Blackboard password is a randomly assigned 5-digit number
